These works are from a series of imagined aerial landscapes focused on the horizon line as it cycles through a day.

The transition from field to field separated by fluctuating horizons began in 2019. Shifting lights and darks , distinct delineations or subtle field modifications and variations in terrain presents a painterly visual language pointing to the shifting status of our ecosystem and its impermanent form. Embedded into each print through the printmaking process, are the impressions of found natural materials such as leaves, vines and soil, as well as found discarded materials. Landscape is, in a literal sense, “in” the work.
