These landscape paintings on tissues are the most recent iteration in my series. They represent the cycle of decline and impermanence that exists in all things – even the paintings themselves. They combine transparent medium and ephemeral material to contrast the solidity of my weighty, three-dimensional landscape relief paintings and present the landscape in a state of vulnerability.
