I was born in Brooklyn, NY and later raised Upstate in the rural town of Cornwall-on-Hudson along the Hudson River Valley. I now live in Irvine, California and my studio is in nearby Tustin.

I received my Master of Fine Arts degree from California State University, Long Beach in 2004. My most recent solo exhibition was in October 2015 at Ruth Bachofner Gallery in Santa Monica, California which was reviewed in ArtScene. Prior to that I have had three previous solo exhibitions with Ruth Bachofner Gallery and solo exhibitions with Mainframe Gallery in Seattle, Washington, Jancar Gallery in Los Angeles, d.e.n. contemporary in Culver City and the Irvine Fine Arts Center in Irvine, CA. I have exhibited in group exhibitions in galleries, Colleges and Universities in Southern California and have also shown in New York, Europe, and Asia. My work has also been reviewed in The Los Angeles Times, LA Weekly, ArtLtd., and Art in America among others and is in collections in California, New York, Europe, and Asia.

In 2014, I participated in a residency at Foundation Kaus Australis, Rotterdam, The Netherlands which culminated in an exhibition there. In 2015, I was an award recipient of Seen and Heard Project, an anonymously founded initiative that bestows grant recognition without application to Los Angeles-based women artists. In 2018, I will be one of five artists in an exhibition entitled The Feminine Sublime at the Pasadena Museum of California Art. Since 2009, in addition to making art, I am a Moderator and Organizer of bi-monthly Art Discussions at ESXLA, International Residency and Gallery in downtown Los Angeles.
